Where it all began

Brugel Creative is a Sydney and Newcastle based Digital Design agency established in 2008 by Sheree Chambers (then, Sheree Brugel). We specialise in assisting small-medium sized businesses with web development, branding and graphic design solutions. We use WordPress to develop our standard websites and for our E-Commerce sites, we use Shopify. We’re are also a Shopify official partner. Our agency includes team members in Newcastle and Sydney, and we work with clients across Australia and around the globe.

Sheree Chambers

Director

Sheree has over 15 years’ experience in Marketing and Design and founded Brugel Creative in 2008. Sheree’s background in Marketing and Event Management across a broad spectrum of industries including medical, industrial trucking and education have equipped her with a unique ability to quickly gain an understanding of her clients’ businesses and how to achieve the best results for them. With a Communications Degree and Google Certification, Sheree has always been fascinated by the world of visual and digital. Surrounded by a small team of experts, Sheree spends most days communicating with our clients and developing creative solutions for them.

Erin Sessions

Communications Manager

Erin is a communications specialist with over 10 years’ experience working in the Higher Education sector, where she has been a lecturer, writer, copywriter, and editor in a variety of contexts and genres. Erin is an academic, writer, speaker and poet, who presents at conferences and publishes nationally and internationally. Erin loves all things teaching, training, learning, researching, writing, etymology and word-nerdery. She’ll be managing Brugel’s communications and meeting all your copywriting and editing needs.

Kathy Elliott

Business Development Manager

With more than two decades of experience in marketing, sales and business leadership, Kathy likes nothing more than using her skills to help people and businesses move towards fulfilling their potential. Dedicated to understanding and capturing the vision of your business, Kathy will design and deliver websites and marketing solutions that are authentic and connect you with new and existing customers. Passionate about understanding how organisations work and change, Kathy is currently studying a Graduate Certificate in Organisational Change and when not working with clients or studying can be found in her happy places – cooking up a storm for friends and family or sneaking in a class at the gym. Being based in Sydney, Kathy is available to meet with our local clients in person.

Louisa Drury

Graphic Designer

Louisa is a Graphic Designer, Artist and Illustrator. Since completing her Bachelor of Graphic Design in 2006, Louisa’s passion has been combining clear, functional designs with artistic aesthetics to deliver measurable, commercial results for our clients. Whether constructing unique typography, engaging illustrations or simply good layouts, Louisa is skilled at utilising visuals to convey a message or tell a story. In her spare time, Louisa can be found in front of the easel with paintbrush or pastel in hand, reading a novel or playing with (often laughing at) her cat. She has a great love of Japanese food and joining in a game of soccer.

Creative Agency

Our clients love the fact we take the time to get to know them and actually listen. Even if you’re having trouble putting together a brief, Sheree (who is said to have the patience of a saint!) will work with you to help scope your project. Once you’re happy with how we’ve quoted and specified your project, we provide mockups and keep you informed every step of the way.

If requested, we can even provide training so you can maintain and develop your own website moving forward. Ongoing helpdesk support is also available from Brugel once your website has gone live.
